Conclusion

From this, it is evident that Nostradamus had a wide variety of tools he used in order to obscure what he saw of the future. At the same time, it is evident that he was not always right in his judgment as to what the future entailed. But he was not wrong all the time either. In actual practice, he seems to have been right more often than he was not, and sometimes when he was wrong, it was merely due to some singular detail that he either did not know about, overlooked or simply did not understand. The result is the puzzle that has delighted, infuriated and confused us for several centuries.
